Older child session: Session 2 - Birth Mothers

Description

Calling all adoptees ages 7 years and older! We are now offering four classes on adoption for the older child. Our second session will be Sunday, March 03, 2024 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Kathie Otte's house and will be as follows:

1. Session 2: Birth Mothers

- Children will talk about their birth mothers. They can bring a picture of their birth mother to the group

and share what they know about her.

- Positive feelings about her will be encouraged.

- Children will then write a short letter to their birth mother. They can also draw a picture to send to her.

- Birth fathers will be mentioned if appropriate.

Please RSVP by March 01, 2023. If your child has taken the class before, they are welcome to come back again. AFH family members are free, non-members are $5.00 per class.
